There’s no doubt about it, I’m a Floridian.

So it dawned on me today that I will be headed up to New York City tomorrow. Now I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but Florida doesn’t have any real seasons. I mean we do but they consist of: Rainy, Muggy, Hot, and Hurricane. So I went in panic mode when I realized that in other parts of the country, it is actually COLD in December (who would’ve thunk it since it’s all of 78 degrees out here).I rumagged through my closet and found all of my cold weather gear:

Christa the Floridian

Is it sad that all my warm clothes are Peruvian souvenirs? Do you think I will stick out at all in NY?

After 22 years in Pittsburgh my blood thinned in two years when living in Florida. Maybe not to the extent to require the gear in your photograph though.

Yeah. I am with you. People laughed at me in Whistler, BC when I had a leather jacket. *sigh* You do own a jacket right? You have to, it rains in FL like 24/7 ;)
