I’ve been feeling particularly down and lacking of creative vibes lately. So, when in doubt, I just take pictures of Mack – he’s my #1 model. I call this one Mack the Lion:

I was walking through Target the other day and stopped at the dollar shelf (what? I find great photo props there) Unfortunately for my cat, they had cute little “Allstar tshirts” for only a buck! -Just a side note, the girlie shirts were much cuter, but I could never immaculate Mack like that…- Today I threw it on for a test run. It didn’t really fit, but it sure as hell made me laugh. Can you see the “I hate you mom” look in his eyes?
And although I’m obviously a photographer and not great with videos, yet, I couldn’t resist it:

I put my “Regal” filter on the camera today and had Mack pose for me – or just sit there and put up with me. Don’t worry folks, it’s pure camera magic. In real life he’s a big fluffy goofball, no class whatsoever.

I caught the beast mid act. He’s such a stalker. He looks so wild in the untamed (eh hem I mean uncut) grass.
And for those of you who think I take too many pictures of my cat… bite me 
he’s my kid, and we all know you take WAYYY more pictures of your kids than I ever do of my cat…maybe. hehe

End of the Dinosaurs …156/365

It was an end to the dinosaurs… at least one dinosaur. And I think I know the culprit.
I found this not so little guy looking up at me on the doormat. He was screaming “take my picture”. It seems to be a trend with me now, shooting dead reptiles and bugs. There’s just something about them that holds my interest. This guy was no exception.

Mister Curiosity followed me all around the yard today while I was testing out my gorillapod. Turns out, he thinks it’s prey, because he was stalking it all across the grass. He would stoop low, wiggle his butt, pupils wide and POUNCE!
I don’t know, maybe he was just getting Joby back for playing rough the other day? Either way, it was adorable. I love playtime with the kitten

Tonight was a mixture of a few things…
First off, I have a ton of ideas I really want to take pics of, but I don’t have my equipment around, so that was a bust. Don’t worry I wrote them down and have plenty of time – 235 days to be exact- to do them.
Secondly, I kind of got caught in a web of couch potatoe-ness coupled with the History Channel (Pawnstars and Pickers – yay!).
Last but not least, I took advice from some twitter friends on what to shoot tonight…
So here goes – sorry no unicorns, reflections, or bustin’ of moves, just me holding a camera up and spinning around thanks to @spryd, and a fantastic idea to throw my cat on my shoulders as I did it! !
