I’ve been feeling particularly down and lacking of creative vibes lately. So, when in doubt, I just take pictures of Mack – he’s my #1 model. I call this one Mack the Lion:

I put my “Regal” filter on the camera today and had Mack pose for me – or just sit there and put up with me. Don’t worry folks, it’s pure camera magic. In real life he’s a big fluffy goofball, no class whatsoever.

I caught the beast mid act. He’s such a stalker. He looks so wild in the untamed (eh hem I mean uncut) grass.
And for those of you who think I take too many pictures of my cat… bite me
he’s my kid, and we all know you take WAYYY more pictures of your kids than I ever do of my cat…maybe. hehe

A quick shot tonight, since I have a lot of side work to catch up on. I guess my photography isn’t the only one being neglected?
(And yes, I made him wait outside and whine until I could go get my camera and take a picture… I’m a photog, it’s what I do

Mister Curiosity followed me all around the yard today while I was testing out my gorillapod. Turns out, he thinks it’s prey, because he was stalking it all across the grass. He would stoop low, wiggle his butt, pupils wide and POUNCE!
I don’t know, maybe he was just getting Joby back for playing rough the other day? Either way, it was adorable. I love playtime with the kitten
The Epic Showdown …57/365

It was an interesting afternoon in my backyard. My faithful cat Mack was in full force defending the backyard from invaders. We had 2. One was a clone of my Mack-a-doodle, a stray who comes and whines from time to time. They both just sat in full regal stance staring at me as invader #2 entered the territory…the evil raccoon.
That’s when the standoff began. Mack chased poor lil one eyed Jack (this is what I named him after realizing he is missing an eye) up the fence. It was quite entertaining to see a raccoon twice the size of my cat run away in fear. Although I’ve gotta give it to mack, he is mighty fierce.
I have to say lil one eye scared me a bit for being so close to the house. Hope he doesn’t have rabies. I got very close to him to take some pics (shot this with my 35mm so I was practically in his face). We might have to call someone in if he keeps hanging out like this. But for now, it made for quite an adventure.
