Gotta love Yuengling. Up here in greater Philly area (the brewery was founded in Pottstown, nearby), Yuengling probably beats out the Buds and Millers of the world. You don’t even have to call it by name in a bar, you just say “I want a lager”, and Yuengling is what you get. Yuengling is my cheap beer. It cannot be beat.
Now my brother moved down to Gainsville a long while back (He’s in Jacksonville now), and that’s when we discovered their Tampa brewery. He was at a happy hour event and got kicked out because he was arguing with the bartender about the name on the chalk board. Well, not the name, but where it was brewed. The chalk board listed it as Tampa – which is not untrue – but my brother got belligerent about it being from Pottstown, PA. We’re passionate about our beer. Good stuff.
