Spring is in the air …91/365

I just spent about 20 mins annoying the crap out of a ladybug couple trying to get their groove thing on. They kept hiding under leaves – which really impeded me taking pictures of them. This may have been strategy on their part, but HA HA at them, I got my shot! :D I have to admit, lady bug sex is kind of interesting, and pretty much like [insert species here] sex. Spring is in the air!

On a side note: These are the times in life I wish I had @jonyag’s len :/ #humph So no great macro here, but I think you get the picture *pun*

Well done Christa, persistence pays (and I didn’t know such a shot could be done with the 35 f/1.4L). A good macro lens is also on my shopping list.

Very nice shot even with out my lens :) . I’m kind of afraid of what kind of bug porn you’d put out there with a real macro!
