We booked a last minute trip to San Francisco and got here yesterday morning. Unfortunately, John was hit with a fever/cold on Friday so he spent most of the day just trying to pop his ears from the flights in, so we didn’t have much of a chance to explore. Thankfully I had been in touch with a blast from the past who last minute suggested we come to the marina for a sunset cruise. How could we turn that down? It was just low key enough for John and the weather/sunset were the perfect photo op I had missed all day. Thanks again Angela for the hospitality and being awesome as always!
Our gracious hosts for the evening
We were waiting for a few people to jump on the boat as the sun was setting. It’s hard to tell because I only had my wide angle lenses, but it was just this HUGE fireball setting behind the Golden Gate Bridge. Beautiful sight.
Making our way out to see the end of the sunset
The clouds were out enough to catch the glow, yes!
Tacking or jibing or something…
My favorite shot of the night, sunset profile with GG bridge in the background = check!
Bye bye beautiful twilight, you were so good to us
Discussing something very important I’m sure

Dusk was setting, nature’s vignette telling us time to go home now.
