Row your boat …50/365


Today was AMAZING! I decided to play hookie for a day, which means sleeping in, relaxing lunch by the water, and canoeing at Wekiwa Springs. Well, I didn’t do so much of the paddling since I had to take my photo of the day ;) The hubs unknowingly obliged to the brunt of the work (I would randomly stop paddling and pick up the camera, leaving him to steer us into nearby trees :) All in all it was a gorgeous 69 degrees, sun shining, birds chirping and turtles sunbathing.

    So while you were out canoeing in paradise (sans bugs), I was out w/my kids in my winter wonderland (sans bugs). To each his/her own! It was a perfect day no matter what! Good times. Great shot. Love it. ;-)

    I miss Wekiwa. I have not been there in, god, years. 2004, I think, maybe 2005. This picture alone makes me want to go again. (Note: my Facebook has an album dedicated to my last trip there and how epic it was.)

    Grr… now you made me want to head on over there. Beautiful.
