Today was my first day of the One Shot Challenge. It took me all day of wandering around thinking about what I would devote my precious one and only shot to, and then it hit me…
My parents were sitting there in perfect position for a photograph. They were watching Office Space intently, snapping green beans for dinner. Something about it just triggered a “I gotta shoot this!” moment.
And yes, I took the time to set up the camera and composition. Here’s my first one shot for the week:

The carpet, their looks, the lighting from the lamps, the chairs (one foot rest up, one not), the bare feet – I love this. Great shot.

I like it! You could get a similar picture at my house any night of the week. lol
