I took some portraits today for a work project on one of our campuses. They shot a video with one of the oldest faculty members who has been teaching at the college for over 40 years. In fact, he’s been teaching since 1942 (it was a speech language class if you were interested).
This guy was a riot to listen to. He has a ton of great stories. One of my coworkers complimented him on his suit as we posed him, and he just replied “Well, I got it to be buried in, but I figured I’d get some use out of it while I’m still kickin’” I hope I’m that cool when I’m 85!

Love the portrait and it has good lighting on the subject… only (small) critique is that the black statue in the background seems to be sitting on his head.

Wow I don’t know how I didn’t notice that before? I had so many shots but most of them he wouldn’t look at me and was talking lol. There were only 2 that he was actually ‘showing his good side’ as he says. I actually prefer the in action shots of him at work explaining things. Maybe i’ll post up in a bit…

You rock Christa! These portraits came out awesome. Couldn’t have asked for more- and Dr.Williams is a total riot, its true.
LOL- I loved when he told you about his “good side”. What a sweet man.
