Do you see what I see? WTF Friday

It’s WTF Friday lite edition. Today I’ll let you figure out my WTF moment I had when I looked at this nice postcard I received in the mail today.

Hint: It’s not the fact that they put the emphasis/caps on the wrong words.

Can you spot it? First one to spot it gets unconditional love and witty sarcasm from me!

Uhm, yeah the garage may be in a rather inconvenient place…for a car anyway.

And that’s prolly a real house … They build model homes without them now. There are three in my parents housing area. Still model homes but what happens when they have to be sold?

  8. #8 by Tom Rubin on April 2, 2010 - 6:56 pm

  9. #9 by Jose E Diaz on April 2, 2010 - 7:18 pm

How do you put bad credit behind you by buying a home? One, they won’t finance you for a home if you have bad credit. Two, if you have bad credit, you’re probably not supposed to be buying a home cause likely, you’re already having trouble paying bills. Unless it said “Put bad credit behind you! Have this house for free!” I don’t really see what adding a mortgage to your bad credit situation is going to do to help it…

  11. #11 by Angela on April 2, 2010 - 7:27 pm

How the heck will buying a $160k house help your credit?

  12. #12 by Kim Brooks on April 2, 2010 - 7:29 pm

haha flowers in front of garage, priceless. Speaking of priceless, I love how the ad suggests you would put bad credit behind you by adding an additional $160,000 to your debt with the purchase of a house. And WHY would someone want to market a house to people having credit trouble to begin with?
Oh, Florida Housing Market…..you drive me to drinking.

The garage, like everyone and their cross-eyed Uncle already pointed out. But also, there’s a big white penis at the top of the house for no good reason.

Now you can put bad credit behind YOU…and a big white penis in front of YOU

And in France, find a “normal” house at $250.000, it’s really hard ! (but we have real wall :p)

Actually, it’s a showhome and they most likely use the garage area as a sales centre. Aesthetically it looks better to have plants rather than a massive cement driveway. Head to your nearest new housing development and you’ll find the plants in front of the showhome garage.

That said, imagine how bad it would look if the photoshopped a driveway in.

You know… I know it may be a model home, but I still don’t think that makes it look right. #justsayin
