Be Positive …144/365

Be Positive:

It was brought to my attention at work, by subtle jokes, that I may project negative vibes. I’m thinking, unfortunately, that my sarcasm has reached an entire new level where only few care to get it. It may also be a mixture of sheer workload and frustration of not being able to move forward on projects. Still no excuse…

I have to say generally I’m against negativity and try to block it out of my life as much as possible (admittedly I do love a good rant every now and again), so I would never like to be perceived as a) a constant complainer b) a negative nelly c) a debbie downer d) so on and so forth.

My Solution:
Go an entire month without saying or thinking anything negative. This includes yelling at my inbox, negatively commenting on conversations, and heavy sarcasm with negative undertones. The goal is not only for self improvement, but to also encourage those around me to stay positive as well. As they say, smiles and laughs are infectious… So far so good, I already feel less stressed and happier!

positive thinking, put on a happy face

Oh my gosh, this is such perfect timing. I, too, have been feeling the same way lately. I figure, we as humans will always have some sort of negativity or judgement, but I feel if I limit the amount I exert publicly, well…then perhaps the actual act will get smaller and smaller.

I will totally take this challenge with you!
